2012 Trends for Accessories
Accessories will always be part of the fashion stage. In 2012, it is clear that there are strong trends on these little pretty things that you should start to notice. Whether it’s a bag, a piece of jewelry or foot wear, there are up and coming themes that are now taking the stage.
Going Tribal
Accessories with tribal themes are very popular nowadays. Most of the themes are of African origins such as the bracelets, earrings and sandals. Bags are also decorated with several indigenous themes such as dried seashells. Necklaces vary from ones with horns and teeth to polished bones.
Saturated Sorbets
Intricate designs that involve multiple colors are still trendy. But the single bright colored ones are making a comeback. The saturated sorbets are back not just in clothes but also in shoes, bags and purses.
The Color White
It seems that 2012 will be the year of the color white. White dresses and other couture abound in the runway. And it comes to accessories as well. A lot of designer bags and shoes have gone all white this year.
Futuristic Themes
I personally think that movie Tron Legacy jumpstarted the futuristic theme. Shoes and bags with silver metallic and futuristic designs began to appear more several weeks after the movie’s release. Well, we are clearly heading to a much more sophisticated future so we might as well try it out on fashion to see how it goes.
